FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualification Scenario for Pakistan.

Pakistan’s football team won a two-leg match against Cambodia in the First Round of FIFA World Cup 2026 qualification (October 11–17, 2023), demonstrating their skill on the field. Pakistan performed admirably in the home-and-away format, outplaying Cambodia in both games on a strategic level.

Pakistan progressed and will now play in nine groups of 36 teams in the Second Round, which runs from November 2023 to June 2024. To qualify for the next round, they need to place one or both of the top two players in their group.

In the event that Pakistan advances, there will be three groups of eighteen teams in the Third Round, which starts in September 2024.Pakistan must win their group in order to qualify directly, with the teams in second place moving on to the Fifth Round.

The winner of the inter-group playoffs advances to the inter-confederation playoffs in the pivotal Fifth Round (November 2025), which is the last stage before possibly earning a desired spot in the FIFA World Cup 2026.
