In honor of Iqbal Day, the federal government has proclaimed November 9 to be a national public holiday.
On the occasion of the poet Mashrikh Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s birth anniversary, the cabinet division has approved a public holiday, and a gazetted holiday notification has also been issued.
On November 9, there will be a fervent celebration of Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s birth anniversary, Hakeem Ummat, the poet of the East.
It should be recalled that the Iqbal Day public holiday was discontinued during the PTI administration and reinstated last year following a protracted absence.
