How will the Weather be During the Days of Eid? Meteorological Department’s main Forecast

The Meteorological Department has predicted hot weather throughout the country on all three days of Eid-ul-Azha and rain after Eid. The Meteorological Department says that two streams of rain will enter the country by the end of June, while the monsoon may enter the country earlier.

It should be noted that according to the Meteorological Department, more than normal rains are expected in the monsoon season this year. The authorities have issued a cautionary warning to the nearby populations in view of flooding in the rivers and canals. National Disaster Management Authority officials say that monsoon rains are expected to be more than normal. There is a possibility of flood situation in different parts of the country during July to September.

Due to the possible severity of the weather, there is a risk of flooding in the rivers and streams of the country. The areas most affected by possible flood rails have also been identified. There may be flash flooding events in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.

Apart from this, it will overflow in Kabul River, Indus River and Swat River in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Sutlej, Ravi and Sindh may experience high level flood, Jhal Magsi, Lahri, Nasirabad may be affected. Due to the temperature being two degrees higher than normal in June and July, there is a fear of rapid melting of snow on the mountains and avalanches.
