Indian cricket team’s vice-captain has been ruled out of the World Cup due to injury

Pandya suffered an ankle injury last month and on Saturday the International Cricket Council (ICC) approved the inclusion of Prasidh Krishna in his place in the Indian team. Hardik Pandya suffered a left ankle injury while bowling in a match against Bangladesh in Pune on 19 October, but the team won the match easily by 7 wickets.
