Pakistani cricket players receive their long-overdue PCB payments.

A three-year central contract agreement with senior players was disclosed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in September. The pact will take effect on July 1, 2023, and last until June 30, 2026. Though there was some initial debate, the players’ position won out, leading to higher monthly retainers.

Numerous athletes have already accepted their contracts and been paid. Other players including Hassan Ali, Imad Wasim, and Naseem Shah are probably going to sign contracts soon as Shan Masood did.

Changes in player categories and concerns for future commitments and contractual responsibilities could occur.
