The Pakistani rupee continued to rise against the US dollar on Monday, with the interbank market recording its sixth straight session of strengthening with a 0.15% gain.
This upward trend points to increased trust in the local currency.
The Pakistani rupee ended the day at 284.53 versus the US dollar, up Rs0.44, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Pakistani rupee saw a minor upswing the previous week, strengthening in the interbank market by 0.14%, or Rs0.40, against the US dollar. At 284.97 at the close, there had been a slight improvement.
