Holy Quran Palace to be Built by KP Govt in Peshawar to Preserve Antique Quran Copies

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has announced the plan to build a Holy Quran Palace in Peshawar to preserve the ancient manuscripts of the Holy Quran. This election was decided in the Peshawar meeting of the Department of Religious Affairs and Endowments.

Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has directed Peshawar Development Authority to locate and allot land for this important work. The Qur’anic Palace will serve as a special repository for priceless and ancient Qur’anic manuscripts, guaranteeing their preservation for posterity.

Chief Minister Gandapur has directed the competent authorities to determine a suitable place for establishing an official cemetery in Peshawar apart from the Quranic Palace.

The move is part of the government’s major initiatives to meet the city’s growing need for cemeteries and ensure that adequate facilities are provided for dignified burial of the dead.

The building of the Qur’anic Palace is a manifestation of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s dedication to the preservation of the region’s religious and cultural heritage. The purpose of creation of this special place by the government for the protection of ancient and rare copies of the Holy Quran is to respect and protect these important religious works.

Peshawar’s cultural and religious significance is likely to be significantly enhanced by the project’s expected attraction of intellectuals, researchers and religious followers.

Building a public cemetery, meanwhile, would offer a much-needed solution to the city’s problems with burial space. The new cemetery will be planned to meet the demands of the community, guaranteeing that everyone will be able to choose a respectful place to die.

These programs show how committed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is to protecting cultural properties as well as meeting the needs of the local population.

In Peshawar, the Palace of the Holy Quran and the recently constructed official cemetery are expected to become important landmarks that honor the region’s long history and dedication to public service.
