Pakistanis Beware! A Heatwave warning was issued for Temperatures to reach 51°C

A Heatwave warning was issued for Temperatures to reach 51°C.The majority of the nation is predicted to endure a protracted and severe heatwave for the next ten days. With abnormally high temperatures, Sindh and Punjab are expected to suffer the most. The plains of Sindh and Punjab might see a 5–7 degree Celsius rise in temperature during this time, with record highs perhaps reaching 49°C or 51°C.

In comparison, temperatures in places like Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and the surrounding areas are probably going to be a little bit lower, between 40°C and 43°C. These are not as hot as expected in Sindh and Punjab, yet they are still very hot. It is expected that the weather in Karachi, the seaside city, will be comparatively milder. Karachi’s average daily temperature is between 36°C and 39°C, while it can get as high as 40°C on really hot days.

The Meteorological Department has assured that despite the ongoing heat wave, Karachi will not be severely affected like other areas. The agency also said that the heat wave is expected to subside by the first week of June, providing some much-needed relief from high temperatures.
