China tests the first-ever drone delivery on Mount Everest “successfully.”

According to state media, China announced on Wednesday that it had “successfully” finished the first-ever drone delivery tests on the Nepali side of Mount Everest, the world’s tallest mountain. This opens the door for high-altitude mountaineering, emergency rescue, and environmental protection operations.

In the April tests, a DJI FlyCart 30 was utilized. Three oxygen bottles and 1.5 kilograms of additional supplies were flown from the Base Camp, which is located at 5,364 meters (17,598.43 feet) to Camp 1, which is located at approximately 6,000 meters (19,685 feet) of the world’s highest peak, which is also known as Mt. Qomolangma in China. Trash was carried down the return trip, according to Beijing-based Xinhua News.

According to Chinese drone manufacturer DJI, the drone could transport 15kg of supplies, day or night, between the camps in 12 minutes.

All these remarkable achievements of China are definitely winning it in every sphere of life.
