Pakistan has requested the return of TTP terrorists from Afghanistan who were involved in the Basham attack 2024

In response to the involvement of the terrorist group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and its alleged leader in recent terrorist attacks in the country, including the suicide bombing of a car carrying Chinese nationals in Basham, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Pakistan on Sunday demanded that Afghanistan “take action” against the group.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi while addressing a press conference in Lahore said that we demand that the interim government of the Taliban arrest the leaders of the TTP including its head Noor Wali Mehsud and hand them over to Pakistan so that the two countries can be reconciled. Maintain friendly relations. along with senior security officials.

On March 26, a convoy carrying Chinese engineers was targeted by a car-borne suicide bomber in Bisham, an isolated district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing six people, including the driver.

Traveling from Islamabad, the Chinese engineers proceeded to their camp at Dasu, the district headquarters of KPK Upper Kohistan. A vehicle full of explosives collided with his car coming from the opposite direction near Lahore Nala on the Karakoram Highway.

For a long time, Islamabad has accused Kabul of not doing enough to stop TTP militants who are said to be hiding out of Afghanistan. Kabul denies the allegations.

According to Naqvi, the terrorists responsible for the attack on Chinese citizens in Bisham have been captured. The incident was carried out by TTP. He revealed that TTP militants, operating out of Afghanistan, were responsible for the March 26 suicide attack targeting Chinese engineers.
