Pakistan to Launch Communication Satellite PAKSAT MM1 on 30th May.Pakistan’s Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPERCO) has announced the launch of Pakistan’s multi-mission communication satellite PAKSAT MM1 on May 30, 2024 from the XiChang Satellite Launch Center (XSLC) in China.
Developed as part of the National Space Program 2047, the project is a collaborative effort between Sparco and the Chinese aerospace industry to meet the country’s communications and communications needs. PAKSAT MM1, leveraging advanced communication technologies, is poised to play an important role in Pakistan’s socio-economic development and its journey towards becoming a Digital Pakistan.
The launch event will be telecast live from Sparco facilities in Karachi and Islamabad.
